Cursillo (koor-see•yoh)
a short course or series of lectures
What is it?
A movement of the church based on Jesus' example; He searched out & called a small group of potential leaders; trained them by word & example and inspired them with a vision; He linked them together and sent them out into the world to bring the world to Him.
The purpose of Cursillo is to help those in the church understand their individual callings to be Christian Leaders; aware that we can exert a positive influence on those around us.
Bringing Christ to the world is not an easy task, it is a lifelong commitment. The goal of Cursillo is to; Make a Friend, Be a Friend and Bring Your Friend to Christ.
Who is it for?
Cursillo is an excellent "next step" for those who have asked Christ into their lives and want to know, "Ok, now what am I supposed to do?"
